And my question is for scratches the customer is unwilling to pay for sanding or colorchip repair, is there a gloss that has a filler that completely gets rid of a scratch and what is the longevity? I heard mixed reviews of Menzerna's glaze.

The only thing that will completely get rid of a scratch is called paint.:props:

I've tried several glazes and like CG EZ Creme and Glossworks. I've heard good things about Blacklight and Prima Amigo as well.

Rivstar cleaner wax does a good job at masking swirls
the article i came across a while back compared about 5 different popular glazes and PB blackhole came out the best for masking scratches/swirls
No durability tests in that article though

Tried them all and does help on light colors, but not on black.

Might have come out on top, but still does not hide enough for me. Most glazes have no durability (couple days) if not topped.

I've used both Poorboy's Black Hole and Prima Amigo. I really like both, but for different reasons.

On my black pearl VW, I really liked the cleaning ability and mild abrasives in the Amigo. It left the surface very glossy and slippery. While Black Hole didn't clean up the surface like Amigo, it found it to have more filling action and it left my black car looking like an inky, wet...ummm...black hole.

I've topped both with 845 with no ill effects on the wax. I easily hit six months of winter coverage.

IMO:
Meguiar's M305 Ultra Finishing Durable Glaze
might just be the product you're looking for.

Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish is a good "Glaze". Looks great on black as well.

Black hole is the best I've used. Todd helme did a glaze showdown way back when...BH #1 in his tests as well.

Another vote for PB's BlackHole Glaze.

Here in Florida, when topped with a sealant we're seeing product masking/filling lasting between four to five hand washes. When topped with a 'nuba it's more like two to three.

I just got a whole bottle of poor boys black hole, do you want to try some? Cannot promise shipping until August 10th, busy bee :work:

What are you looking to achieve with a glaze? And whose vehicle(s) are you glazing and for what reason?
For lighter vehicles I like Optimum GPS. And for darker vehicles I really like PB's Black Hole. Cleans really well, easy to apply/remove, and fills light-medium scratches/swirls really well.

i used black hole on my black f150 that had a 100k on it when i traded it in. The salesman said there is no way that paint has a 100k on it. I love black hole, also topped with Colly.

Thanks for the responses guys. Just looking for something to use now and again to make a few cars look good. Just to cover things up not correct them because of thin paint or budget.
