My New Detailing Studio!

That quote is attributed to the German Philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche. Actually, he said it much more eloquently:

"That which does not kill us, make us stronger."

It turns out that he was right. (Source: Google that Phrase)

You were all right!, and it's ALL your fault, but

I'm glad to present you my new Detailing Business Place:

300 square meters of free detailing space

Wow! Double WOW!

Congratulations Rafael! Your shop looks amazing!

You're attitude and stick to it tenacity inspires me and I'm confident it also inspires everyone that has read this thread and will read it into the future!

In the forum world I RARELY use the bow down emoticon as I reserve it for special people and special threads like this one. I also rarely use more than 3 for any given thread.

...
We are studying the name / logomark of our place, bellow is what we have so far.

Why Studio?

A simple dictionary definition of the word:

studio
noun (pl .studios)
1 a room where an artist, photographer, sculptor, etc., works.

Why Show Car?

Even though we will be working on maintenance washes and sparingly Quality Production Work (learnt at AGO!), our main focus will be taking our customer's cars to Show Car condition via full detailing procedures.

How do you believe we should look like?

VOTE CONSERVATIVE, to support the development of a conservative logo style:

VOTE AGGRESSIVE, to support the development of an aggressive logo style:

Please, if you dare, you can help us developing our logo and card with your ideas, feel free to share, everything (from you) will be useful.

I appreciate you taking your time following my story and supporting my journey,

Count on me as well, always.

Kind Regards,

From Brazil.

Here's a couple of suggestions....

First - Start a NEW thread for this topic. Don't include it in this thread about showcasing your new shop.

Give the thread a title that tells people what the thread is about so they know to click on it or not click on it by the topic. (I have an article on this)

Second - I teach people to brand their name or their business name. For example your forum name is Tato instead of your real name or your business name. Nothing wrong with this but if it were me I would cross brand myself and business throughout all your social media touch points.

Over time it's has a greater and more positive net affect.

Brand Yourself, Brand your Forum Nickname and Brand your Business Name

I could name several "known detailing personalities" that when they first started posting to the forum world they used the common practice of using a "nickname" that came from somewhere in their life and while it means something to them it meant nothing to all the people that see it and read it.

Again nothing wrong with this but after reading my article or after a personal phone call from me on this topic they changed their name according to the recommendations in my article above and now everyone knows them by either their real name or their business name, not a meaningless nickname.

Here's how this applies to your new logo...

Instead of

Studio Show Car

Make it,

Raphael's
Show Car Studio

Just an idea. But you're the best at what you do so state it. It is what it is.

Dear Mike,

You are a kind gentleman. I have been into so much confusion lately, an avalanche of events I had minimum to no control over them. With the best of my intentions in mind, life guided me through wisely and I could keep my dream awake (intended).

"Many moons passed, and more the dream grew strong " goes the song called 'castles made of sand';

However, at the end of the chorus (in the song), the castles made of sand will melt into the sea, 'eventually'.

I tell you this because if I can list the major responsible for maintaining the flame of detailing alive here, it's called Autogeek. Being a member gave me the privilege to build a solid foundation, which differently from made of sand things will hardly be affected, even when everything seems to be conspiring in contrary.

All efforts you and all the members invest here made the whole difference for me. You made it!

Many things changed, but the respect and admiration I have for you persist, if ever changing, only to find out it increased even more. Count on me!

I have a thread almost ready for posting where I will share pictures showing the first two months of my new business, trying to point some details about the transition from home based business to conventional business. I will also finally put a face in my name there.

On the negative side, I'm barely finding time to put things together at forum but I do my best to get my share of knowledge everyday here looking at new and hot threads. You keep wondering us!

Thank you so very much for taking your time sharing your opinion, it truly means a lot.

Kind Regards.

Very nice place and best of luck with a great opportunity. I thought i heard you say you and another guy are doing this. I had a name suggestion kinda like Mike. I agree the show car studio sounds better than studio show car. So basically i agree with Mike but if you are in this with another detailer he might want his name added also so it could be Raphael and _____ 's Show Car Studio or just go with The Show Car Studio. Sounds like a place i would want my car to go to. Keep the pics coming it looks great!

What a great history my friend!
i'm taking some time to read your posts you send us at Mateus whatsapp group.
Congratulations, i'm so happy to see can grow higher after that accident. Soon i'll visit your studio and meet you personally.
