...I'm thinking real hard about trying several. Mainly to keep up my own daily drivers, but also for volume detailing and for those that mainly want a 1-step service.

In no particular order:

Meguiars D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream

Wolfgang Uber All In One 32 oz.

3D HD Speed 32 oz.

32 oz. Pinnacle XMT 360™ Corrects, Cleans, Seals (I have this already)

BLACKFIRE Total Polish & Seal 32 oz.
The last two products can be worked into the paint until they're gone, if you like.

Obviously, D151 is the most economical, but so are two other product lines I'm looking into which are geared towards production detailers. However, I'm leaning real hard towards D151 and Wolfgang.

I tried the Menz 3 in 1, i really likes it. i just picked up HD Speed today and am going to try it out tonight.

I looked at this, but forgot to include it in my list. Perhaps one reason I forgot is that I've read at least two posts stating it's hard to remove while others had no complaint and loved this new product.

There is not a bad choice among all of those. I think the Uber AOI had a pretty decent amount of cut. You have used XMT360 so you know its as easy to use as anything could be, but doesnt have the cut of some of the others but good cleaning ability. Lots of people have been very pleased with HDSpeed. I think there might be a place for a few of those depending on price, condition of car and what you want to accomplish.

I tried the BFTPS. Thought the shine it produced was good but not great on my white car.

The DuraGloss was clearly superior in my opinion.

I know...was going to get them all. LOL!Im the MAN:buffing:

I had considered Duragloss Total Performance Polish (TPP) # 105 , but at AG's price it isn't as economical. Of course I could always call Duragloss and check pricing on a bigger sizes.

The current plan is to get a gallon of D151, the rest will be quarts.

EDIT:

It would make more sense to get some small samples of each, then buy 1-3 of the products that I like, or 1-4...1-5...you get my drift. Seriously though, I'd narrow it down to 1-3.

It's just fun thinking about placing an order and trying new stuff.

Hi - be aware you will use very, very little of the product if used properly. This is a case of not all sizes are created equal.

Precisely why I edited my above post. A pint of most would suffice probably.

Keep talking and you'll have me saving all my money. :dblthumb2:

This is Menz 3-n-1 topped with Fuzion. It was easy to remove.
It did an excellent job, this BMW had never had a proper detail either.

Bob, now you have smoke coming out of my ears trying to figure out what you meant in that post.

I noticed one thing...you're a Meguiar's fan.

Did you list these in order of your preference?

Were you just showing my Meguiar's options?

Was the one in red your top choice and/or was it the answer to my question in another thread, or just seperating it from the rest of the croud because it's different?

I've noticed lately that White Wax is disappearing from store shelves, as is black wax but not so much. Disappearing as in the shelves are empty of it and have been. Has me wondering if something else isn't coming along perhaps.

I like D151 because the gallon is cheap and it has enough cut to remove pretty much all the swirls and remove or smooth over the edges enough of the deep RIDS to make them way less noticeable.

HD Speed is IMO the best of them all by far. I NEVER EVER let price be a deciding factor for me, it's always about the best product for the car. HD Speed achieves both. Extremely economical and the best product. Can't beat it. But yes, I ALWAYS top coat with Souvergin to maximize longevity.

The below Mike Phillips article is a "must read"
for best utilization of the different 'grades' of AIOs:

More and more of you guys popping up that top AIO's with another LSP. Nothing wrong with that though.

Guys don't seem to mind to top an AIO with another LSP, but it seems some have a hard time considering an AIO as a fine polish with a built in LSP.

Wonder what they'd think if M105 had M21 in it? LOL!! Why not!

I still don't get it. In the same amount of steps I can use a M205, Adapt, FG400, PF2500, or another polish that cuts better and finishes well and then top it with something more durable like Duragloss.

Looks like I had your post figured out fairly well.

Oh...and that link is exactly what promted my interest in getting some "other" AIO's into my arsenal.

Thank you!

"In the same amount of steps" as what? What/who are you refering to?

You don't get what?

You don't get these guys topping an AIO product? I didn't say that, I don't do it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't. M205 an DG would be a better option, as you stated.

I'm not so caught up in what people do because they can do what they want, top whatever with whatever...doesn't matter to me.

Just don't call topping an AIO product a one-step precedure because you just turned it into two procedures if you do so.

You do know that your suggestion is 2-steps, right? At least I think you know that, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

The purpose for me wanting to try other AIO's is to expand my arsenal not only for a few customers but rather so I can do a light polish with decent protection on my own daily drivers when I need to without having the extra time to go around the car/truck more than once.

Cutting...with a compound or finish polish, then going around and sealing...it's two steps any way you slice it.

And, yet...in some 'Circles':

Just the mere mentioning of topping a dedicated
LSP with another such dedicated LSP...will often
result in the raining down of fire-and-brimstone
upon the head of anyone that is deemed to be
a mephistophelian layering-louse!!
