I only do one car each week typically and as of this year I only do correction and coating jobs for the most part. My usual routine is to have the vehicle dropped off on Thursday evening and I will have the car till Sunday afternoon. Even though I IR cure the coating I still like to let it sit over night, however this is really not needed. It is just something that I prefer.

Nice work, so nice its ashame that car will be driven! But of course a car like that was meant to be driven!

I used Hyper polish on white LC flat pads with my Rupes. This cleaned up the finish quite nicely and I find myself using Hyper Polish a lot lately.

You have any pics of your M4?

I was supposed to have another 2012 Jet Black M3 this week but he had to reschedule to next month.

Yeah I have about 10 or 15 I've taken... Some the quality is pretty poor due to cell phone..

But I'll post some up if your cool with it..

This is your Thread.. not trying to Hi-Jack it

I don't mind dude, throw a few up if ya want. I wouldn't mind seeing it.

I didn't know you could apply coatings by airbrush. I guess it would be a lot better on wheels to get into all the tight places.

Amazing work.

Here are a few.. apologies if these come out Huge... My photo bucket doesn't work on my office tablet.

My car has the Adaptive Suspension and is probe the best 1k you can spend on this car...

1st is delivery day.. one with chrome bits still on.. then blacked out the Grill and side gills.. changed out the silver DCT shift plate to carbon fiber. 20% Color Stable 3M Tint

Just got my 12mm spacers in and installing this weekend... ordered a.BMS Stage 1 Tune.. RKP carbon Fiber Diffuser, Vorsteiner brushed 90 MM tips ( did the open valve exhaust mod so saved 5k on buying and exhaust. And ordering Yas Marina blue color matched reflectors to get rid of the unsightly orange reflectors..

Very nice man! The black grille certainly looks much better. I am pretty anti chrome. This is my beater/DD that I picked up a few months ago.

This is my car. Really impressed with Kevin's work and cquartz as a product. Never gotten as many comments on a car as I already have with this one so far.

Thanks!

Fantastic job Kevin, truly grade A work. Matt you received some good advice when you were steered in Kevin's direction. Kevin, I admire the way you work, this includes your initial assessment, thru to completion. Of course this include your care in handling car from point A to point C, B being the MF'n kick ass job you did. I love a couple of tools you utilized to their best, the Quickjack is friggin awesome and your wheel application of CQ was beautiful. Excellent work KMG. I learned a lot. Good luck & take care.:buffing:

Peace,

Darrin

that is an amazing car and an amazing detail job. if pics dont do it justice, i'm not sure i could stand to see it in person!!

Beautiful work on a beautiful car! That "yellow foam" stuff is cosmoline and was all over my E92 during my first wash. Then again, i told the dealer not to touch it when it came in.
