Newly obsessed detailer! Turned a my M3 new again (opti-coat and more)

Maybe I'll post up some detailing pics wearing different outfits in each one and see if I get the same response from you guys/gals.

It is so cool to see a beautiful woman detailing rides!! I think you did an awesome job of detailing welcome to the forum. Oh, by the way your M3 looks nice too! It was hard to notice but was it the white BMW?...LOL

All kissing aside, welcome!!

Welcome to Autogeek. It seems like you are off to a great start, the M3 looks great. After reading your post and looking at your pictures a few things come to mind.

1. Be careful of the clothes that you choose to detail in, jeans with the metal rivets can do some serious damage to paint.
2. The Porter Cable is not a bad machine, perhaps a little underpowered compared to what is out there. But you can still get great results with it and true paint correction can be achieved. You have to use it with the right combination of pad, stick to a 5.5in pad or smaller and the thinner the pad the better.
3. I feel like they should have put some stripper glitter in the CG stripper scent. But maybe they decided against it because not everyone wants glitter in their car, god knows that stuff is hard to get off.
4. You have great taste in cars. The mods you have done so far really look great.

Car looks good, when you want to take it to the next level try HD Products. LMAO :buffing:

PS these pics were taken with a cell phone not a dslr.

For those interested in the #### show that was my introduction thread on the M3 forum...
New Girl on the Block - Manda Mew Journal Thread

Welcome....

I belong to the sister forum E90post. There is a hint of truth to the stereotype regarding BMW owners. Some of us are douche bags. It clearly manifested itself to be the case from your post in the M3 forum.

You will find most members here to be very helpful.

BTW.... NICE Car...

It was the same on Gencoupe.com I left there long ago :dblthumb2::iagree:

PS and Junkman beat everyone up when it came to detailing :buffing:

Your first post woohoooo, no longer lurking? It took a pretty women to get you to post your first post to the forum well done.

Get a life.. You must be the forum dork that monitors members 1st posts and then accuses them of lurking and trolling and then tries to expose them as some forum newbie. Get lost too.

First off, welcome to AG. Great group of people here.

Second; I read the whole thread on the other forum and after all that, why keep all the same pictures and bring them here if you don't want the same outcome.

Still mostly guys here. If you want to be noticed for your work, just show the car.

If you just want attention, just post some more pictures of yourself.

I did the same thing, I read through that whole bunch of junk, meaning the demeaning replies.

We're at Autogeek.net and should be above that. Whether people want to speculate or not about a post, as members we shouldn't be sexist about it. There is a couple here and it escapes me their names and I'm sorry for that and they run an awesome detail business together. And they have shared many great posts with pictures and reviews. And DK is one strong detailer in the house too. So I'll let you think about that. I'm all good for all people that want to share and learn and be part of the community. I see too many comments from some posters with 1-5 posts or so who have never posted their work here busting off on stuff. We're here to share and learn.:buffing:

I think the people your thinking of is Wills Windows and Wheels, but I am just taking a guess. Their screen name is the same as their business name.

Sorry, I believe the average AG member if above most of this, but similarities are already showing themselves.

???

I guess this is directed to me?

I have no issues with female detailers. I know some do exist here. I thought you were talking about the couple in Texas, I think, that do awesome work. I don't believe they or DK have staged photos like that.

Just saying; If you are proud of your work, show it. Not staged photos of you doing it.
