Being one of the winners in the below AGO
giveaway (again: Thanks Nick, et al):
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...thers-california-gold-waterless-wash-wax.html

I am now in receipt of Mothers WW&W.

[Notice that I also received one of
Mothers' LSPs... :dblthumb2:...(more on that later)]

With that being said:
I hereby respectfully submit my review for Mothers
California Gold Waterless Wash and Wax.

•First off, here's one of the main reasons I wanted
to try out this particular product:
-Since I'm a big fan of a WW product that
"leaves nothing behind"...
how will I like a product that says it:
"will leave something behind"?

-We'll find out in a moment or two.

•Most WWs state very clearly the type/amount of
vehicle-dirtiness for which they should be used.
-Mothers WW&W is no exception:

However...
What kinda FUN is that?!?!

Instead...
I thought I'd try it on some very contaminated surfaces:
Something like the below pictured inner/outer wheel surfaces---loaded down with ~1500 miles of brake dust and road contaminates---from some spirited driving.

Note:
I'm thinking that, with factoring in the level of difficulty I incur keeping these surfaces clean and shiny, this would
be an excellent place to not only initially use this Mothers product---but it would also make for an excellent test-bed for future cleaning.

Moving forward...

A couple of three pictures of the wheel surfaces
at the onset of this review:

After spraying this product, and while cleaning:

IMO: Important to note:
Per the product's instructions:
If the product would happen to dry up before
you're done...just respray the affected area.
(Yes...it works as advertised.)

The results of this session with Mothers WW&W...

Going a little bit off-topic...but:
Back to the additional Mothers product I received:
the Synthetic Wax.

According to the Mothers WW&W label:
an application of a Wax is recommended
for maximum results.

As such...
I applied this Mothers syn-wax:

Gave it time to haze;

and then removed the Wax's "excesses" to reveal the following:

This Mothers Synthetic Wax is good stuff!!
Its application and removal is easy-peasy. :props:

And after an application of
my favorite tire "dressing":

•In conclusion:
-Mothers has come up with a WW&W product that has more than met my expectations as a cleaning product; one that should be capable of holding-its-own in the WW&W marketplace.

-Time (and a few miles) will tell-the-tale whether
"the what's left behind" will be effective, or not,
for future ease of maintenance.

Thanks for taking time to read this review.

I will be more than happy to entertain any pertinent questions anyone may have.

Nice review Bob. How does it compare to D115 in terms of cleaning ability and ease of use?

Nice review Bob :)

I just got my bottle today. Hopefully I will be able to give it a go this weekend.

Thanks.

Being that I've yet to have had the opportunity to use
any D115...I can't honestly give that comparison.

{I'm a fanboi of D114 :)}

Bob
Any comparisons in the experiences of using D114 versus using the Mother's Waterless Wash and Wax?

Any comparisons in the experiences of using D114 versus using the Mother's Waterless Wash and Wax?
-Both products are very easy to use.
-Both products wipe streak-free.

Also:
•Mothers WW&W did leave the bare aluminum
inner-barrel of the wheel with what I'll define as:
-'the impression of having a perceptible-shine'.

•And...Since D114 "leaves nothing behind"...That
is something that D114 won't be able to duplicate.
