Hey EW great work! :buffing: Nice pics of all the work too

What tool did you use to polish up the wheels? Or did you do the work with a microfiber towel and elbow grease?

I'm hunting for a good polishing ball looking for advise.

Thanks!

For the wheels I used the Flex3401 and a 5in Lake Country Orange Medium Cut pad for all large surfaces. For the harder to reach areas we attacked it with the Meguiars dyna cone and an electric drill! A few areas had to be worked by hand, but the majority of the shine came from those two tools. I highly recommend the optimum metal polish. A little goes a long way!

That's nice work. When I read semi detail, I was thinking partial detail. :)

That 50/50 on metal is the money shot. Awesome work. Looks like some fun tackling that big of a rig. I'm peanut butter and jealous!

Nice!

Big trucks DO look good than good when 'detailed out.'

When I read, "semi" I envisioned the word meaning 'partial', not HUGE vehicle real estate.

WOW what an under taking.. How long did it take you?

It was a huge undertaking... Not pictured, but we also clay bared the whole semi using the speedy prep wash sponges and coated it with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0.

The whole semi took us 21 man hours. I had 3 guys including myself tackling it for 8 hours straight. The semi was pretty clean upon arrival.

Thanks man! That's one of my favorite shots as well. The owner was truly blown away. He thought the wheels were shot as far as finish goes.
