Yet another HD Speed question

I am considering buying some HD Speed as well to make a few AIO comparisons and to have add to my AIO arsenal of choices.

Have you used any other HD products like HD Cut, HD Polish and HD Adapt?

If so, can you, or anyone else, compare them with other products like Meg's M105/M205 and M100/M100 and M86...specifically wipe off and dusting attributes/comparisons would be ideal. I already know the Meg's products cut like a bear so cut isn't a concern plus I have some of them on hand already.

I have all of the HD Polishes and Menzerna and Wolfgang.

They are all excellent products and all of them produce great results.

These days I'm leaning towards the HD products for a number of reasons. The work time, ease of wipe off and affordability are three that come to mind. Living in Florida and dealing with high temps and humidity dusting can be a problem for any of the products I mentioned. HD products have a long working time and I've experienced little to no dusting except on one really nasty hot day. I changed pads more frequently and that solved the issue. Mind you, it was about 110 and humid as heck in my garage.

I can't compare to Meg's polishes as I've never used them.

I will also continue to use my Menzerna and Wolfgang products depending on the application.

Speed uses Non-Diminishing abrasives. Depending on what you're using it on/for, will depend on the amount of passes that should be done. If you're using Speed as a 2nd step (after compounding), just 2-3 back and forth, up and down passes are typically needed.

Also, try leaving the residual product on the paint after polishing and remove it after all the polishing is completed. It will produce a better cross-linked protection.

IMHO it would be a waste of time. You need the "speed" of a machine. Poxy yes.

And a nice spritz of pad conditioner will keep it working.

Be careful with this as HD doesn't recommend using a pad conditioner.

I used Speed by hand with a microfiber towel in some tight spots and I thought it did a good job cleaning up the paint. I doubt you could get very much correction by hand, but it was very obvious where I had applied it and where I didn't.
