Ive been searching on here much to my dismay. im trying to find the best rinseless wash for horrible ohio winters? many days below freezing, lots of snow, LOTS of salt :-(.. Feed back please

They are all pretty good, try the Meguiars or Optimum. Those are a good value and you won't be disappointed.

Rinseless Wash: Optimum No Rinse

Waterless Wash: Ultima Waterless Wash + Concentrate (Which can be used for both rinseless and waterless)

Meguiar's D114 or D115

There's a ton of others available, just pick one that AG carries and you really can't go wrong.

Meguiar's D114 is all I use for the above
Winter weather conditions that befall Ohio.

Poorboy's Spray & Wipe will do the job and do it well.

Best place to start is with a coating before it gets too cold to apply/cure. This will make all of the above wash solutions so much easier to use.

So what makes UWW any better than D114, DG 932, ONR etc. mixed as a QD ?

UWW+ has very low cost per use and has many uses....D114 is right there too though, but it's only available in gallon sizes....ONR is pretty good too

i use opti-clean for everything - glass, interior hard surfaces, instant detail, waterless wash.

there are other options as mentioned, some really good ones, but, i've found it to be the most used item in my arsenal so i stick with it.

i have two bottles going at any given time. one with a little OID concentrate added for exterior, one without for interior.

D115 is my favorite. Pretty economical at 1:8 dilution, doesn't streak even in the sun and leaves a super slick finish.

I'd recommend going with the rinseless wash instead of the waterless wash. Take your car to the local coin op, blast off all the heavy dirt and salt, and then come home to do a rinseless wash with warm water in the bucket. Works like a charm. ONR. ONR wash and wax. Duragloss #931. Maybe soon whatever this new prototype rinseless wash is that we're testing!

ONR or D114 in warm water for the winter would be my choice. Or even the new V17 Rinseless once it is released. With the new dilution rates on the V17 at 1 ounce per 3 gallons, thiis may be my new go to Rinseless Wash

Thanks for the recommendations guys very much appreciated !

D114 can be used at 1:128 and 1:256

UWW+ is 1:48

These are EXTREMELY economical in comparison.

for rinseless.

i believe when he said 8 parts, he meant for waterless.

Yes 8:1 is waterless for D115 . I use D114 for waterless at 128:1 and it works great. For Rinseless Washes I dilute the D114 to 256:1. D115 at 8:1 is waterless. I use D115 at 4.1 for waterless which is recommended but 8:1 is also ok. I would not recommend D115 for Rinseless unless you want a $79.95 car wash. Meguiars recommends 4.1 for Rinseless with D115. (1 gallon ($79.95 retail) poured in 4 gallons of water)

Yea using D115 at 1:4 for rinseless doesn't make any sense.
