Hi there...I thought I'd share a refreshing story for once. I've taken delivery on a number of new cars over the years and the condition I've received the cars in has varied. I've had some that are pretty good and some that were simply hacked. So I thought I'd share a good experience for once.

I took delivery of this car at the BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC. Let me tell you, they really know how to prepare a car. The paint was polished and waxed flawlessly. The interior was cleaned an minimally dressed where needed. The tires and wheels were perfect. I almost felt bad driving the car 800 miles home to Connecticut. here are some pics of delivery and the car after I washed it myself following the drive. I'm going to wait until December to do my own full detail on it. Anyone have product recommendations for BMW Alpine White?

Congrats on the new ride! Beautiful ride for sure:)

I've been using Megs Ultimate Quick Wax on my Alpine white F30 328i and using Megs D156 after every wash. For a quick detailer I have been using Griots Speed Shine.

I am happy with results.

Thanks. I've been using Pinnacle Crystal Mist, but I'll try the Megs at less than a third of the price!

WG deep gloss paint sealant gives a very glossy and clean look on alpine white. Even though it's new, IronX or Sonax fallout remover is a good idea before your LSP. White shows contaminants easily. (Mine is a AW 2010 535i)

Congrats on the new BMW M235i! Sweet ride. Did you order the M differential?

Are you looking for a wax, sealant, or coating?

Thanks Mike. No I didn't get the differential. The only compromise I had to make was to get the Xdrive model. With the driving, I do and the climate, there is little I can do to avoid it. I could just imagine my wife turning this guy around in a snowy corner with RWD.

I'd love a sealant and wax recommendation. I typically apply a sealant followed by a natural wax for depth. But I'm open to suggestions.

I would collinite it to death, wheels exhaust all the jambs x 2 if you have the time.If not one coat will suffice.

Completely understood. Have you decided on a proper winter tire given the climate you will be driving in?

I am a big fan of the Wolfgang line and BLACKFIRE line.

You could put down the Wolfgang High Gloss Combo and top it with Fuzion or use as a stand alone LSP.
Wolfgang High Gloss Kit
Wolfgang Fzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax, carnauba car wax, show car wax, polymer wax, paste wax, Wolfgang German car care

On the other hand you could perform the BLACKFIRE Wet-Ice Over Fire combo.

Very nice car merlin3008! Congrats on the new 235i! I love how that car looks.

Here's my own 135i in Alpine White. I used opti-coat on this as my LSP:

Here's a F30 328i in Alpine White I detailed. I used Wolfgang Fuzion as my LSP:

IMO, I don't think it really matters what LSP you use on Alpine White (IMO, it makes more of a difference on darker colored cars). It will be extremely shiny and glossy if you polish the paint to a high level. As they say, 90+% of the gloss comes from polishing.

I do have Blackfire in my arsenal. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
