Review - CarPro Essence

I finally ordered this, I can’t wait for early spring! I also have BF Pro Primer which I may do a half and half and only use BF SiO2 and Polish Angel toppers.

How is the cut on Essence? Next spring I'll most likely be going back to a coating on my wife's SUV. If Essence will polish out the few swirls, remove the remnents of the LSP, and prep the surface, it would be a really winner for me. The vehicle is a Toyota with typical soft Japanese paint which normally pretty easy to correct minor defects with a finishing polish on a white LC pad.

Essence is a mild cut. It will take out some micro scratches but it also contains a little bit of filler so that it looks better. I really like the stuff, I've been using it for a couple years now. Use it very sparingly, don't load it on ....a couple drops on your polisher pad is all you need.

Knocked out a few more cars with the essence and Meg's MF finishing pad

McKees coating

Nice job. Love to see black paint in full sun. Really shows the true finish. Any reason why you are using a MF finishing pad instead of foam? Faster or better finish?
