i have been using the original dry wash. works great .is there something equal or better out there?
 
......and the original is called what? I know the original was invented in 1988 and also know the name of it. What are you using?

Dry guard is the name of product.
 
There were a couple of snake oil salesman that came into the dealership back in the 1990's trying to push Dri Wash on us. I even went to one of their multi level marketing meetings. It was sold in an aerosol can and was overpriced. We purchased one case. We used it for wiping down showroom cars which it did work ok . Of course these days Meguiars, Pinnacle, Ultima, Blackfire, EcoSmart, etc are much better and more economical
 
What's "Dry" about a liquid product? Unless its a Martini

I'm not a dry wash fan but that stuff was pretty good.
 
There are RTU products out there you can buy. meguiars has one, mothers has one, 3D, chemical guys, pinnacle, DP, blackfire, etc. no adding water to these. Most here look for economical items which are concentrated cause we might be using them quite frequently. Waterless car wash products, ecotouch waterless wash, griots waterless wash, optimum onr, automotive waterless car wash

Basically any you see with the trigger sprayer on top are typically RTU. There are some available I have seen at normal auto parts or big box stores too.

Dri wash and guard to me was more like just cleaning you car with a detail spray or spray wax. While it works you leave quite a lot of room for marring over time cause some are not the best cleaners.
 
Only one DRY product out there and that's Kozak. I can't find anything called "Dry Guard" link please.

Thanks Bob. I was taking the term a little too literally.

When I was in High School I had one of the "Kozak Dyr Wash" towels which seemed to work pretty well for dusting off the car. I remember I was pretty careful with and took pretty good care of it. Back in the 50s and 60s they would often come with new cars. I've seen Limo drivers using them.
 
For what I remember if I'm right wasn't kozak a oily towel.there was a featur of that product that I didn't like can't remember.

I don't remember it as oily either. Soft, dry and pretty durable is what I remember.
 
I still have a Kozak. Its great if you use it every day. If a car is to dirty , then it wont work.
 
Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash....best dual use wash out there, period!

Just received Uber rinseless over the weekend. I'll try to do a comparison between it in WW dilution and Megs D115 then Uber at RW dilution and ONRWW.
