How do I find if a town allows home based business

I plan on relocating to another state, and I have been getting the run around to find my answers when calling the municipalities.

Does anyone know a better way?

Contact the Office of Code Enforcement, they should be able to tell you what is within the codes and zoning for where you live.

So after calling a few towns one guy I spoke with was very helpful and told me about a website that you can look up a lot about local codes and such.

Mike maybe you would know a better place to put this then I.
