What are you using to extract cleaning solution from carpets the LGM, Rug Doctor Portable or something else and don't include professional extractors machine?
I use my ShopVac. 16gal, 6.5hp. Plus a stack of old terry towels.
It does alright, but it has to be slower than a dedicated extractor. I would like to get a good extractor this year and the Mytee 8400DX Dry Upholstery Tool to go with it.
I was planning to scrub the carpet down cleaner than scrub then use the LGM to rinse/extract the cleaner. I saw two LGM with proheat one with some kind of heatwave technology and the other heat it 25 degrees hotter above tap water, don't know which one is better.
I used to run a Little Green...for a year or so, it did a decent job. Ive been using a Mytee lite 8070 extractor now for over a year, I actually opened a credit card with 0% APR for the first 6 months just to buy it....Dropped $1,600 on the extractor and a bunch of attachments. Any money I made using it I put straight into the credit balance until I paid it off (took less than 2 months) Totally worth spending extra for a professional grade shampooer if you have a solid customer base.
OnSiteDetails - cool avatar! Great that you have the discipline & customer base to pay that off so quickly.
SharplyDressed - In not in the biz, & have hot water in the garage, so the hot water from the water heater is sufficient. The little green "heated" won't heat the water, much past, the water heaters temp. Excellent price for the heated, though, I believe heated is over $100 new.
