... Winter storm watch in effect from friday evening through sunday morning...

The national weather service in state college has issued a winter storm watch... Which is in effect from friday evening through sunday morning.

* snow accumulations... 6 inches or more possible.

* timing... Snow begins friday evening. The period of most intense snow will be friday night into saturday evening. Snow ends late saturday night.

* impacts... Dangerous travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel.

Of course i'll be at work.
 
just do like usual in a snow storm, drive slower, brake ahead, make sure your winter tires are in great shape, use rain-X yellow -45 windshield washer. 6 inches of snow really is nothing, it is a really small snowfall !

12-18 inches forecast here. Hate snow and winter. To those that are jumping and running around cause it's gonna snow. Have fun
 
I love winter and can work from home if need be.....sorry for those of you that don't enjoy it or aren't fortunate enough with work
 
At least it is on a Saturday.... No need to run into work and can sleep in rather than getting up at 5am to shovel the drive.
 
Ha , DC got hit yesterday but it missed us. On the news they said there were too many accidents to report. Drivers around DC are terrible and traffic almost comes to stop when it rains around here.
 
12-18" that's my kinda forecast, but in reality we'll probably just end up with a coating, just like the huge snow storm we were absolutely going to get, forecasted something around 1-2' and didn't even see one snow flake, I'll take as much snow as I can get I love every bit of it but the weather forecaster's are terrible, they keep drumming up the hype so you tune in and watch the forecast, get's there ratings up and sponsors pay extra, I'll prepare for a good bit of snow but in reality I doubt we'll get much
 
I lost heat yesterday, wife slept in the bed and I was on the couch feeding the fire. 55f in the house when we awoke this morning. Should have it fixed later today, but the charge ain't pretty. Oh well, some are much worse off. Take care everybody!

I can't wait to get some measurable snow. Central Ohio FTL though. New set of Blizzak LM-32's on the Audi are just crying for some action.

Blizzards are great!
Although I'm running on all season tires rn cause I can't afford snow tires because I have to save for a new clutch :(.
Nevertheless, drive safe even with the Quattro and snow tires
 
I'll have some fun with Quattro. We'll have nearly 200 to move. Can't wait for the new dealership to be done that dwarfs our current one as you can see.
