Used D156 as a drying aid for the first time today...

Is that sheer terror or...?

I've been using D156 as a drying aid for a few washes, so far I like it, works well and doesn't leave any residue on plastic and rubber trim. Sorry to hear that it may not have worked out for you.

Oh no...that's the I-can't-believe-how-good-it-looks expression!

Oh nice haha. For me that picture could go either way. I've been trying out the D156 along with some of the other megs detailer line of products. Very impressed with them so far. Great products for the money.

Love d156!!!....I have no use for detail spray in my arsenal with d156 and a good WW I'm set

Has anybody else heard that they are discontinuing it?

I did the same thing today on my focus and my wife's explorer sport. I noticed some streaking on my focus which is the magnetic color, but I also didn't follow up with a second microfiber to completely buff The paint. I should have thought about that but I was trying to get a quick wash in before the kids woke up.

I do have to say that both vehicles looked really glossy. My focus has klasse topped with colli 845 which I out on back in October and my wife's explorer never got a coat of wax/sealant aside from what the dealership put on when she bought it. I think it made a big difference in the finish and drying seemed easier than when not using 156.

I also used d120 on all the windows. Stoners has served me well for the past couple of years, but I don't think I'll be using anything other than d120. Really impressed by Meg's detailer line so far!

I've used D156 for years and have loved it. I use it for all of my basic wash customers and it really packs a punch. Protection is pretty legit for a spray wax too, especially considering the price for a gallon of it. I'm transitioning many of my products from the Meguiars Detailer line to offer some higher end options for customers, but the D156 is one I'll probably miss the most. It's truly fantastic stuff!

Does it work better than Duragloss 951 as a drying aid?

I haven't tried it yet lol. It can't possibly be better than Aquawax!

Haha, I do love me some Aquawax. It's only $4.50 at my local Carquest right now. I got one bottle the other night but I'm gonna go wipe them out of it this week lol.

D156 is my favorite spray wax by far. Can be purchased OTC, super easy to use, and no streaking issues at all even in full sun.
