Afternoon, I washed my Accord today, and came across this lovely chip just before the rear wheel.

It's down to bare metal, and an eye sore. I'm not expecting a miracle with it in such a tough location, but what are my options?

I've never wet sanded before, but I already have the perfect test-bed.

Any tips, or things to watch out for when wet sanding on a edge/curve?
 
Try Dr. Colorchip. I have used it with much success on all my cars.
 
Just take your time and use fine sandpaper start with 3000 with very little pressure,remember it's a repair its not gonna be 100 percent so try 3000 and finish with 3000.just rub finish by hand with a fine polish or light compound may need repeated steps by hand just take your time and it will come out great.
 
Or just fill it with paint and don't sand .
