I just ordered this combination and am wondering a few things.

I ordered a few of the Tornador Turbo cleaner packets to give these a shot. Anyone use these guys?

For the combined system it looks like it has to be assembled as one unit which is fine. Can you keep the unit assembled as one and only use the gun portion without the vacuum line or does this need to be run at the same time?

Also was thinking about using a Waterless wash product for door jambs, light engine bay work, etc. for the gun portion.

I have a 6HP Shop-Vac to use with the system.

Feedback welcomed

Haven't used them. I've been using it with Meg's APC and Super Degreaser.

To install the velocity vac attachment, you remove the black cone from the tornador, slide the velocity vac attachment in place, and tighten a set screw to keep it in place. Very quick and easy installation. You can turn the vacuum off while leaving the hose attached and still run the tornador as normal, but I would not disconnect the vacuum hose since you will have a direct opening to the output of the tornador and while I havent tried it, I would assume you get crud flying at you through the open vacuum attachment port.

I find the tornador to be most effective at agitating when used with the normal black cone as the rotating tip is much closer to the end of the cone compared to when you have the velocity vac cone installed. The Velocity vac attachment has been excellent though for "extracting" seats and carpets.

Again I've simply been using APC and Super Degreaser in mine, but I don't see why a WW solution wouldn't work.

Hope that helps.

I wrote review some where on here about the velocity vac. I was very disappointed in it. Hope you have a better experience. When I contacted Tornador about it the gentleman I spoke to said they have had very positive feedback about it. Let us know what you think.

I may be slow, but I do poor work.

I have been using the turbo cleaner product in my tornador for a while now. It cleans well and I found it to not have the overpowering odor/vapor that APC+ has when used as the cleaning solution.
