Earlier this week Mark Taylor, Co-Owner and Vice President of Sales for Collinite Wax, stopped Autogeek by to say HELLO!

Mark stuck around for a while and talked car wax with myself, Bob McKee and Mike Phillips. Mark is a honest-to-goodness car guy, and just as you would expect he's passionate about car wax.

I couldn't let Mark leave without autographing some wax, so I handed him a sharpie to sign a bottle of Collinite's legendary 845 Liquid Insulator Wax and a jar of the winter-tough Collinite Super DoubleCoat Auto Wax #476.

I didn't want Mike to feel left out, so he autographed the bottle of 845 as well. ;)

Check it out!

Mark agreed that I could give the waxes away to two deserving Collinite fanatics under one condition: They use the wax!

Enter for your chance to win a jar of Collinite 476s signed by Mark Taylor and a bottle of Collinite 845 signed by Mark Taylor and Mike Phillips. Simply post a photo of your best Collinite beading shot OR a photo of your Collinite Wax collection.

I'll be picking the two winners sometime next week. :dblthumb2:

Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax

Very cool, I'm out as I haven't used, i need to pick some up at detail fest

Yeah, very cool of him to stop by, I have been given Collinite acolades for their products on forums, emails and their facebook page for a while. They strive to put out excellent products and it shows. I just used their 855 on the Van interior this morning.

I wish all waxes still came in the traditional metal can like Collinite 476. I would like to try both 476 and 845. Good luck to those Collinite fanatics. Too many wax options, not a bad thing.

Ding, Ding, Ding. We have a winner. What would most impressive is showing us all the empty containers in 50 years:)

I looked closer at your bottles, it may only be a few years till empty. Guess you really polish your stuff.

It has slowed down a bit since the daughter married and moved to North Dakota . Between the 2 vehicles and a 32' fifth wheel RV there is always something to do tho.

That's how it's done, Dave!

I just got a tin of Fleetwax, and 915 to go with my Insulator Wax.

That is a great move. I think you will enjoy all those as much as I do.

Last fall I applied 845 to my Ford Escape and its still going strong. When it rains the water just blows off the hood . I wish that I coulod put pictures on the computer , but I do not know how . I also dont own a camera.I am out of 845 , it would be nice to get some more.

This is what I mean, when autogeek always takes care of us forum members.

Really an amazing team, there all passionate and it shows.

Thanks autogeek and collinite for this cool contest

S#it I applied two coats of 476 a year ago on my brand new Soul. It's still the best looking damn vehicle in the lot when I walk out. I don't need any more but you're a fool if you don't try this wax. Good luck and take care.

Peace,

Darrin

Ding, Ding, Ding. So when Dave wins he can send his Daughter in North Dakota (what a perfect place for the product to be used) some of what he has left in his collection. Talk about a Win Win situation, and best of all keeps the Collinite Wax tradition in the family for another 50+ years.

I have shipped her direct from AG various items which did include a bottle of 845 and a tin of 476S. It is nice that you bring that up and she could possibly be using Collinite for life. She married a Staff Sargent and at Minot AFB. I call it the frozen tundra.
