Photos won't upload?

I've now come across this problem twice over the last month.

I have a series of photos I want to upload to my gallery here for use in forum posts. The whole upload process seems to be working and I even get a splash screen stating my photos have been uploaded. However when I go to my gallery, only my old pictures are there.

I've loaded images several times in the past with no issues, so I'm at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong. Is it a forum software issue? I've tried using both Firefox and Chrome to see if it could be a browser problem

At this point I'm resorting to using Tapatalk on my phone rather than a brower on my computer if I want to share pictures.
 
Not sure why AGO has not addressed this.

I have been unable to upload from my iPad for months.


Content drives traffic...making it hard to upload; decreases the amount of content.

I'm glad to here it isn't just me! I wonder if they had to disable the feature for some reason.
 
I just attempted to upload a test image and it didn't work. Everything appears to work, i.e. it gives you the "successfully uploaded" splash screen, but when it takes you back to my gallery the image isn't there.

I can try again when I get home to rule out the possibility of any blocking actions going on in background of this network.

Maybe its your current network? It seems like it works on some iPads and in others doesn't. I've just tested it and works fine.
 
Trying a "test" upload. I've not been able to upload photos to my posts for several weeks.

Edit: success! Now to figure out how to add them in the body and not as a thumbnail...
 
Success here as well at home. Glad to see this function working again!
 
I thought it was just me. I can't upload pictures from my desktop computer. I still don't know if I'm doing something wrong, leaving some step out of the process, or if there's a problem with my browser, network, or something else. It's pretty frustrating.
 
I've tried it in a couple of different ways and get the same result: a message that states "upload failed". jpeg file:confused::confused::surrender:
 
If your photos are too large they will not upload. Try to resize your image to 800x600 pixels - this will drastically reduce the image file size and you should be able to upload successfully.
