Question regarding CG BLACK LIGHT

Hi,

I have washed my car,Applied Mother clay bar..i am about to start CG BLACK LIGHT but i am already tired can i leave the CG BL on for 2hrs will that be a problem...as the recommend time is only 20 min ..but i am too tired to apply v07 immediately ...can i buff of CG BL 2 HRS latter..please advise

Yes you can. If you are doing it right don't put too much on. You should hardly see anything left to wipe away if done right.
 
YES , thats true i apply as thin as possible ..and when i tried to wipe of it was pretty easy then expected... so i gather some energy 1/2 hr latter and wiped it and applied v07 now the car looks awesome ...atleast for a first time detailer.

Hope your not planning on detailing for a living. LOL:props:
 
i Think Mini being a dream car and the 1st car for me in US ... I AM SO Passionate about it ... i started around morning 8:00AM Washed..dried ....clay....Blacklight(glaze)....v07.. and i am done by 12:45...may be my OCD took me some time with washing and claying ...but then i enjoyed what i did through out and elated with the result...After lunch an hour break and will start with the interior...

There was a time when the BL/V7 combo was king. It's still a very nice look.
 
I made a video about chemical guys blacklight lol its pretty interesting haven't uploaded it yet.

I don't use it BL anymore but I am very familiar with it. I wouldn't leave it on for 2 hours.

Also, don't add V7 after removing the BL. It's nothing more than a glorified detail spray, save that for after a wash or something. Their is nothing to be gained.

^^ this. I use Blackfire's hybrid Montain and love it. Good stuff. Meguiar's Ultimate Wax is good too. Just put a coat of it on my Audi and must say I'm very impressed. Easy on/off and great depth. Good stuff.

Detail spray, there too I use Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer spray. Love it. Especially on black.
 
Yeah Blackfire WDPS is a notch above V7 for sure and one of my favorites.
 
Tired? How old are you? I'm 62and do full details. Good luck.

Hey,

i missed .... i went ahead and applied v07...But thanks though ...what would you suggest next time ..i would repeat the entire process in 2 months except for clay

You'll be doing it sooner than that as Blacklight doesn't last very long :props:

Hence why I quit using it, I just sent a full free bottle to a forum member.

No this what i decided on with an elobrate discussion on another thread here

Once i do this process..

Every week i do washing+ VO7 or wax

for nex 6 weeks and on 7 the week i would do bl+v07 ...i by no means will leave the car unwashed for 2 months ..if thats the concern you are pointing to.
 
Final Results

Washing(Homedepot bucket+cyclone dirt trap+wash mitt+ Diablo gel for tires+ Meguiars gold class)

Drying(MF towels)

Claybar:Mother's clay bar kit

Exterior:

Black light


V07

Gloss signature glass cleaner for glass


Interior :


Leather care conditioner+cleaner for seats

inner car cleaner for other parts

for glass interior Gloss signature glass cleaner



VRP Dressing for rims and tyres

Very nice.

When you run out of the BL post back here, their are other products that would do that Red a lot better justice than that purple goop and provide a lot longer protection. :dblthumb2:
