Probably stupid question but when you polish to remove swirls how hard do you push down on the orbital? I just bought a Flex 150 at Detail Fest and have not had much success previously with a porter cable.

6 lbs for heavy correction. Given you didn't have luck with a PC I would list out the vehicle you had and the pads and products used. Likely in that there are reasons it didn't work out.

With these machines is all about speed and pads, not pressure. Thin pads and high speed is where you want to be

I used Griots orange I believe 6" pads. The case is a Mazda 3 colored mica red. I can't take pics right now because my daughter has the car out of state. And note that I now have the flex 150.
