After months of reading on this great site, buying all kind of supplies, and then some more. Dang, ain't got time do a good day of detailing. Keep getting asked to work every weekend. How do you say no to overtime? So ready to have a couple days to polish one out.......

 @ custmsprty

I feel your pain. Having said that, I also believe that it shows you have strong work ethics; a dependable & reliable person. Besides extra bucks, it builds your rep as someone that they can count on. That is of course, assuming the company treats you well, and not slaving you like some mutt. lol

Think on the bright side, that you're making more money got spending on products.

Well, no just ain't an option at this time, got kids in college and all that goes with it. Thanks brutanoodle, kind words indeed. Yes I work at a great company that takes more than enough care of its folks. Very lucky in that aspect. Guess I'll just look at it as some extra cash to buy the next great product I read about here.

Taking time off work for polishing...
Is that really a good plan?
But..Don't think that sounds astonishing:
'Cause which job provides your daily bread?

I sometimes work OT after work but I don't go in on my days off. Time is more important than money. I get it though, sure is nice on payday

Well you don't say not to overtime by starting a thread on this forum with a title like you used. I just changed it to,

No time to detail

This is a family friendly forum and we draw a lot of new people to our forum from TV audiences that see our TV commercials and shows and when they get to our forum we don't want or need them seeing a thread title like you wrote.

So please keep this in mind when interacting on the AGO forum.

Thank you.

feel your pain, ever since starting a new schedule at work and having a baby, i don't even have time to do a rinseless wash.

Sorry Mike, my bad. Come from the time when folks were told not to be so sensitive, forget how being offended is the new wave.

You could work your car in sections. Just because the pictures you see on this site show completed cars, doesn't mean it has to be done that way. Just working (or even washing) the hood makes a car look better.

Has nothing to do with old or new wave.

We're all grown ups, who enjoy a good laugh with bad language , and adult humor.

However at the end of the day this forum is sponsored by a business, and is advertised on television, so that is why we have to keep it rated G!

We look at a bigger picture, this forum isn't like most on the net it's a few clicks higher in professionalism. Other forums will let you talk however you like and anyone that enjoys that type of conversation or language is completley free to go elsewhere. Like the saying goes,

Birds of a feather flock together

No harm no foul we just are not going to be like all the other forums and Facebook.

It's nice on this forum and we're going to keep it this way.

:)
