Hey Rifay,

You have THREE threads on the same topic. In the forum world that's poor netiquette.

You only need a single or ONE thread per topic. More threads on the same topic simply created confusion and there's no need for it.

I have merged your other two threads into this thread.

:)

Plz help me on above threads questions

5.5" Flat foam pads you can't go wrong with, orange and white are the common ones.

but CCS pad is not good compared to flat foam pad

Machines, pads, compounds, waxes, shampoos etc. just like everything detailing related is purely personal preference and very subjective. You will have to experiment and go through the motions to find what suits your detailing style. This might sound like a tedious affair or a negative but far from it, its what actually makes detailing fun and an addiction. Happy detailing and welcome to a world where you don't grow out of but into.

Say WHO??!!?!?!?!!!

I can ASSURE you... you CAN compound, polish, and even wax with a CCS pad. Heck, I have some I've been using since early 2013 that the dimples are barely there and they'll get used every time I need one, (rather than break out a new on from the bag).

I love the Hex Logic pads - Green and Blue only. They're pretty much all I use on my PC. The run cool, product is less likely to sling, and it feels like they do better with surface irregularities.

The strange thing is that I also really like the Lake Country Hydrotech line on the PC. They're the polar opposite of my selection of Hex Logic pads as far as density. I use them both with low pressure, and moderate speeds.

I never cared for the yellow, orange, and white foams in the either line. Too stiff, with not enough cut. If I'm going to use a stiff pad, I'm going with Hydrotech.
