Will rain ruin my hard work

I was able to compound my boat today and polish it but didn't have time to wax it. It's suppose to rain tomorrow and I'm afraid that the rain may effect all my hard work. Will rain do anything to my work or should I try and wax it by tonight if I can? Thank you

Agreed. It is important that you wash and dry first, as the rub rail on your boat is a notorious dirt & grime trap that will leak (seen or not) dirt & grit down onto your freshly prepped surface.
