This pre-sold unit came from a wholesaler already "detailed". It definitely has a spot in the Swirl Hall of Shame. And the engine compartment must have a full bottle of Armor All covering the grease!
Ok...let's get some starting pics. Honestly, I couldn't believe anyone would pass this off as "just detailed"
So, out with the Extra Cut compound and cutting pad. After 8.5 hours of rotary use, I got 'em (passenger side + trunk only). Tomorrow, I'm breaking out the wool pad for the driver side and hood. Gonna try to shorten the swirl removal time.
Extra Cut Artwork...happy to be on the door!
Smiley face after working...gone!
Rear Bumper After Compounding
Trunk Lip
Passenger Side Looking Better
Removed from the Swirl Hall of Shame on the Passenger Side
Gotta say this car has been a butt kicker on swirl removal. I'm hoping to reduce the time with the wool pad tomorrow. I'll post the results on a separate thread...then I'll use 3M Swirl Remover and a Glaze Pad on the car.
I'm Tired!
