1957 Ford Fairlane

Got the opportunity today to put a little shine on this 57 ford. I didn't get many pictures because my phone died. It's rare to get the chance to work on something like this.
I just did a basic wash and spray wax (pics before wax) and the white walls were stained up pretty bad so I hit it with some bleach white, vacuumed and degreased rubber floor mats and just gave it a wipe down, and I steel wooled valve covers and air cleaner.

Here is a little tip on white walls on classic cars,lacquer thinner makes them super white with very little effort.just don't bring the black part of the tire into the white wall as your wiping.Car club guys are blown away from this.

I use to work for a guy that had a 1936 Packard and a 1938 Chrysler , which had super wide white walls . He also used lacquer thinner to clean them.
