I'm sure most of us have seen the pad washer bucket. The one with the bucket cut out at bottom to prevent backsplash, and you basically pressure wash your pads on top of the grit guard that is set higher up. I tried to search and find the original post I had seen, but no luck. Here's a video though.
Anyhow, I did this today, and it worked amazingly well. It removed all the polish and the pad was dripping clear water when squeezed.
So not sure if this has been done already, mods please delete if so. But I also had some towels which I wanted to try cleaning up a bit before the typical soak and wash. I knew I needed something rectangular and mesh-like to hold the towels while I blasted them, cooling racks!
It could be real simple to build a stand out of pvc and zip ties with some kind of mesh or chicken wire to sandwich larger towels.
