You're damn right about their profits, I bet those boys are running some wicked margins!

Seems like you have everything covered financially, even if it turn out to be a waste you can afford it. It's no different then buying a 5 thousand dollar car and spending 3 thousand on a steroe system and another 5 thousand on paint and another 4 thousand of rims/tires and another 15 thousand on a built motor with another 3 thousand for a built tranny and ect, ect ect. You do it for the passion you have for the hobby. If you can afford it long term it's your $$ do what makes you happy.

FMINUS, I hope you get some so you can let us all know if you think it looks 100 times better then Natty's Blue or 20 times better then Souveran Paste.;)
Not that I would ever pay that much for a wax but it would be nice to know what you thought.
:)

how much is that vintage wax??

If you want it, go for it. Then mail me a sample :p. Nah, it really comes down to your gut decision, if you think its worth it for you, get it.

got me some Zymol Solaris coming .... I took out a loan, but I am sure its worth it. :p;):p

I like how they limit it to 25 jars, like it's a limited edition. But then you can refill those jars endlessly with it, so it's not like they can't make more. *sigh*

i wonder what paul dalton thinks of that 30,000 wax

Tom..i was thinking along the same set of lines..Paul is a marketing genious..i wonder if Zymol will cut Paul some kind of deal to market the wax..

Zymol can refuse the refills at any time. Especially if you send it every week. I think the general rule is once a year type deal. I also read that Zymol, as a company, isn't what everyone believes it to be. Since they have a popular name in the detail industry that everyone can remember and knows, they feel like they can charge whatever they want for a wax, IMO. So every time someone decides to waste the money on a very expensive wax, Zymol is reaping all of the rewards, probably 95% profit, that is. The only person that will get some satisfaction out of owning an expensive wax is the owner ... a customer would never be able to tell a difference between Vintage and say Souveran or Natty's red. But whatever floats your boat, if someone wants to get a "prestige" wax then go for it. It's your money and basically just handing it over to the management at Zymol which makes them thing they can now get $30,000 for a wax. Ridiculous.
are you serious? I thought unlimited refills, mean unlimited refills...or there are terms and conditions to it? I think refilling it once a month is reasonable...For a pro detailer that does a lot of cars...wonder how many times a year Paul Dalton refills his...He only uses refillable waxes...

Keep in mind you start out with 22 oz (almost 3 containers of PS) so I would think it would last even a pro detailer more than 1 month. Mind you, I'm not arguing it's a "bargain" - just pointing out that you wouldn't go through each order as fast as you would a normal sized container.

there are some rules involved, I know that the regular orders are for personal use only. They will not take away the refeils if you use it on personalcars. For example. My family has seven cars (5drivers) so i go through alot of wax really quickly. Its not uncommon to do 4 or 5 in a day (just wash and wax) with my bros help. So there is some fine print but as long as you are in that scoe they dont care
