Switching over some stuff from CG to AG.

The products I like by CG and will continue to use are: Honeydew, Citrus Wash for soaps, V07 detail spray, Afterwash, Silkshine, and Blacklight (glaze). I'll buy them through Amazon.

This fall I will do half of my car in Jetseal and half in another sealant that I find through research. I will literally split if done the middle and report back with my findings and pictures.

Before I found you guys here on AG I went on youtube a few years back and checked out the CG videos and was really interested. Purchased a gallon of their Maxi Suds soap for $10 (plus shipping) from amazon.com and I've been completely happy with it. My cousin is ALL IN when it comes to CG, he's purchased a few soaps, the V7, Jetseal, & the Afterwash. He literally just called me asking if I wanted to go in on half a gallon of Butter Wet Wax........ (he gave me half his 16oz bottle, I use it sparingly but I like it for my girl's car)

Then I discovered 3D...............
HD speed, used with a dual action polisher followed by HD Poxy on my crappy Subaru paint has gotten me incredible results, at a fraction of what I would've spent on CG.

I won't knock CG, I'll probably end up getting HoneyDew soap when it goes on sale again on Slickdeals but a few minutes researching some threads here will open your eyes to other great companies.

Im going to be ordering up the 3D Speed and Poxy soon with some other stuff. Im looking forward to trying them out!

Jeremy, when you do and you go to use it, don't prime your pads. 3D / HD doesn't recommend it. I have never primed my pads with any HD Products. The other major benefit of their stuff is a little goes along way. You'll want to be cautious about over saturation. It will lead to your pads gumming up.

No kidding? Good to know. About halfway through waxing my wife's Passat I had to scale back the product using the Collinite 845. A little dab will do ya with that stuff too.

Thanks for the heads up?
