6 Inch Nanoskin Medium

I purchased the Nanoskin 6 Inch Autoscrub Medium Foam Pad and yesterday had my first chance to use it.
I've used many clays in the past. I then tried the Nanoskin speedy prep sponges and most recently I have been using the Carpro Polyshave decon towel.
All of these products worked but were far more laborious than the newest tool.

I used Optimum No Rinse as my lube and broke the pad in on the windshield of the vehicle as instructed. I used the Flex 3401 on speed 3 to complete the task.

I moved onto the hood of the car and did a test spot to see how effective the pad is. The car was very contaminated, very rough feeling by way of the baggie test. After the test spot I was very surprised how well it had worked. The roughness was nearly gone! Another pass with some more lube and it was good to go.

I finished out the rest of the car, which did take a bit longer than expected because the paint was so rough. However that time was not spent tiring out my arms while decontaminating the paint. I did not notice any newly installed marring from the process.

I would highly recommend this product to others for it's ease of use, time saving and effectiveness!

I then finished the car off with a combo of HD Speed followed by HD Poxy.

Nice review.

There is no powerful/efficient way to mechanically decontaminate paint than with the medium pad driven by the 3401.

That's the sweet spot on that their paint looks great

Looks great! I use the Nanoskin on my DA as well and it's saves so much time and works great! The only issue I have had is stalling with my Torq DA. I ordered the 3401 here yesterday and that will make things even better with the forced drive.

I'm slightly confused with the pad.

I have the fine wash mitt and a medium hand applicator.

The fine mitt does a good job of removing the contaminents by hand. You're not supposed to put that much pressure anyways. Then you get something that goes so darn fast.

I know everyone uses it, so I guess I need to be explained the difference. decon by a wash mitt nanoskin is very easy for me. I wonder what I'm missing out on lol.

^You are not missing out on much if your doing your own well taken care of cars. Where it really helps is severely neglected customer vehicles, i.e. white work trucks.

Yeah, I can understand on a very neglected car. I would have to use a medium and probably throw my arm out. lol.

I really thought about getting one, but I just can't justify it when the wash mitt works so well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Nanoskin pads are for paint that is pretty neglected. A simple wash with my Cobra clay mitt got my truck slick and ready to polish.
