Hello guys,
A friend of mine has a problem removing a fog like film that formed on the outside windows surface, it's spotty like the residue you get on windows from cleaning with water and not wiping it immediately. I think the car got it from sitting outside for about a year and being exposed to dirt and rain over and over again, we tried every product we could find but nothing seems to work, I also used water and vinegar and still nothing.
if you guys can help or if someone has some experience with this before, it would mean alot.
Ps: the car is a Peugeot 308

If all else fails, try Kaboom bathroom cleaner. No joke, just make sure not to get it on the paint.

Thanks guys, But I don't think I can get those here in Morocco, I will check though !

It doesn't have to be Kaboom.. Any bathroom cleaner that removes soap scum/calcium/hard water spots will work the same way on exterior glass as it does to clean the shower door.

Autogeek might ship to Morocco. I think the active ingredient that Eldorado likes in the Kaboom is likely phosphoric acid, which is used to remove mineral deposits in bathroom cleaning products--so you may be able to find one like that. I'd stick with the glass polish though.

The other home remedy that some people here in the US use is Barkeeper's Friend, or...what is the other one...Bon Ami.

I didn't find any with that ingredient in the local store. found some with Phosphonic acide, sodium hydroxid and citric acid, also Bon ami and Barkeeper's friend are not available in Morocco. Autogeek need at least a 100$ order to ship internationally.
