Passenger seat leaking fluid

Has anyone ever seen something like this? I have to get a mirror to try and see where its coming from. The seats are heated and cooled. It's not a powered seat. I can see a line near the leak but it's not wet. Inside the plastic is wet
 
Looks like you have a seat fluid leak. This means the engine is ruined and the transmission will need to be replaced as well.

Actually, it's just the factory grease from the seat track leaking out because of the hot weather. Just clean it up and don't worry about it.

Agreed! My Charger and Durango look the same.
 
Its oily and it looks different than the grease that's inside the seat track. This has dripped from somewhere
 
Isn't there fans inside the seat? Wondering if the motors are leaking.
 
This is going back but I had a car that had a bad heater core leak on the front floor.
 
No fluid running to them but some of those units have sealed electric motors that are filled with oil to keep them quiet and heat dissipation. The seal could be leaking.
 
It's easy to unbolt those seats. Just 4 bolts. Slide all the way forward to take back bolts out and slide all the way back to take front bolts out. Prolly a couple of wire disconnects, too.
 
Looks like grease to me. Depending on seat design there can be more than one grease used on them. Newer seats usually have a multitude of moving parts compared to the power seats of years past.
