I guess my old post got deleted or walked away!

I am looking at a new, 08 VW Rabbit on the lot here in Indy. Dealer says it has been there for a week or two, and I only noticed one thing wrong - tiny little bird dropping on the hood! Is this something that I should worry about (i.e. look for a different car as there is paint damage)- or not worry about it possibly being on there for up to two weeks???

This is really bugging me, I don't know why..

Also, anyone know any Rabbits with clear bra's - reccomend them???

Bird dropping can etch in to the clear coat of a car pretty bad, even to the point where it can not be removed.

bird dropping can etch paint very quick... good durable sealants (DG #105, Klasse twins) will slow damaging effect of acid, but it's best to remove bird poop ASAP.

I have very good bird droppings protection from carnauba waxes only. Most sealant can't withstand bird droppings. From my experience with those that I have.

I parked my car outside my house. And my neighbors have the habit of throwing bread all over the floor to feed the pigeons.

So every day my car will surely have bird droppings. I'm using Collinite 476S & M16. :)

Ya - I'm totally into the waxing after I purschase the car. I'm just saying... this bird poop that is on the car now, (could have been on there 2 weeks!) - is that going to be an issue that I should avoid that particular car - although it's the exact car I want?
