Well here is my buddies Mustang. It's kinda wore out and he just got it back from the dealer from a month long service. It's got the 5.0 HO motor with the 5spd, but what do I know about all that....

He wanted the car shined up, not completely detailed, but just better shape than it's in. So I told him I'll try leveling the paint and slapping on "Wet Look" DG 105 and see what he thinks.

Process

Wash - Foam Gun = Shaving creme style and clay using suds.
Dry - Air Wand and Guzzler
Correction - Mens IP with white CCS spd 5 (to much vibe on 6 *ouch)
Re-Washed
Protection - DG105 via grey CCS spd 2 and remove with blue indigo MF.
LSP - Opti-Seal via blue CCS spd 2
Tires and Wells - AA Tire Foam
Glass - DG Rain Repel

Outcome

A bit under my standards, but the paint was rough, I mean rough! It came out ahead of what I planned, but with more time it could've been better. 4 hours on this one taking breaks every 30mins :) Sorry for the shady pictures, it shows the depth more, but I got a few sun shots too.

pretty nice there bro... should of hooked'm up on some headlight restoration!!! those thing look hazy/1

Dang you did good! The after shots look like a different car. It was so dull before and now it has a really wet shine. Kudos to you.

It's got the 5.0 HO motor with the 5spd, but what do I know about all that....
I know most of it ;)
Great turn around, funny your under standards is my top notch :p

Very nice turn around on the vehicle, reflection looks great.

Thank you for sharing oh by the way I like your new signature, looks good.

Incredible job for just 4 hours!! You had your work cut out for you; I look at this shot and it looks like the door is a different colour than the RR 1/4 pnl and the 1/4 pnl has vicious swirls: Very well done indeed.

Dude he had to be pleased...heck I'm pleased and it isn't even my car! Not everyone can do the quality of work that you do so "under your standards" make most people drool! Oh and I really like your new signature line pic.... that's awsome.

Wow the flakes in the paint are popping out like crazy. Very nice work there.
Why was this Mustang at the dealer for a month?

Man, what a turnaround. That paint was dull :p. It looks so reflective and glossy now!

Great job! I know exactly how a detail on an old Mustang can be a pain. I did a 98 Cobra that was brought to life. That metal flake shot is awesome!

Great job, only four hours... very impressive!

Wow - you must be Flash to get all that done in 4 hours! It looks like a new paint job.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I only did the exterior, so 4 hours seemed like a lot for me, but it's repetition thats helped me speed up my process.

AL417 - It was at the dealership for a rearend, broken motor mount, electrics, radiator... Hard Life I Guess :)
