2016 Accord new car prep. Why dealers don't do a proper prep is beyond me. Lady was beyond happy with the results.

Looks shiny to me!! Were there any minor/major defects you had to correct along the way?

Very few minor ones. It was in really good shape actually for having sat on the dealers lot for a while, which means they likely ran it through the tunnel paint raper at least a few times.

nothing like a proper start for a new car and you gave it the treatment it deserved... :xyxthumbs:

Looking good! What did you use to seal up the trim plastic and rubber parts?

Surprised you didnt have to do any minor polishing after claying it. My accord had crazy marring....definitely needed a once over with a polish. How I wish I had white paint :P

There were some light touch ups needed here or there, and that was done, but nothing wide scale.

Trim, chrome, and everything rubber but the tires I used the hydrophobic sealant.

I'm curious why you have not named any of the products used?

I think it is a forum rule that we cannot really discuss products not sold my Autogeek, or at least it cannot be discussed in a fashion that makes the product look competitive to the ones sold by Autogeek.

Nice work! I am also interested in the two sealants used. lol.
I think you can name the products. You just can't post links to other sites to purchase.

Yup, every other detailing forum I'm on it's a rule to not dicuss products not sold there. I use a wide array of products and just happened to not use any sold here for this one.

Good job on the detail , Most dealerships have the detailers outsourced to another company and those guys don't know anything about detailing a car properly . All they do is pass the car through the car wash and some don't even wash off the dust/ dirt from it . I use to work at a dealership so i know .
