Inside Griot's Garage

have you tried the foam surface wash yet?
Ofcoarse I have, used it in my IF Foam 9 hand pump foamer. It produces incredible foam for the pre-wash! If my car is just dusty from a couple days I just foam, rinse and dry...done!

can you use it in a bucket wash and if so, what's the dilution?

Not sure, I'll check the bottle when I get home. If I had to guess I'd say no because it's a watery consistency.

I would like to add that once your done washing your car, adding the Griot's Garage Poly Gloss is a WINNER!

When my car is just dusty from days of too and from work driving, I'll pre-wash with the Foaming Surface wash, rinse and then apply a coat of Poly Gloss, let it sit and then hose off and THEN dry the car, its an amazing combo from one of the best companies out there....Griot's Garage!

I plan on doing a GG Foaming Surface wash for my usual FNW, its been a while since I used because I wanted to use up my Tri-Nova carwash (a nice product I should add!) I plan on using this product a lot this winter and hitting the car with Poly Gloss about once a month, overkill....ofcoarse!

Used 3 oz of Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Wash topped with distilled water in my IK Foam 9 last night and it worked great, used to use 2 ounces and while it worked great it did lay the foam a little thicker so it's good to know you can vary the foam thickness based off of your needs at the time.

Love this stuff

My 2 cans of tire cleaner are scheduled to be delivered this Saturday.

I'll buy the foaming tire cleaner for when I need to completely strip down a tire, so it may be a while till I chime in on it performs but because its Griot's Garage I expect great things!

for those who have wondered why GG haven't released a paint coating just yet (16:40)...

The answer about paint coating is why I've been a customer since 2005 and always will be, period

This is a great video ... thank you to Griot's for doing it. On the topic of drying MF towels per the video, one thing I find is that air drying MF tends to make them slightly stiff or hard (relatively speaking). What works really well for me: put the MF towels in the dryer (by themselves) on low for 5-10 minutes just enough to make them warm, not hot. Then remove and air dry. This makes alll the difference in the world and allows them to dry soft.
