Inside Griot's Garage

Just put two coats of spray on Best of Show Wax on her wheels now and really impressed with the POP! I usually use just tire shine and thought they looked okay but now they really do look better. Thanks for the tip

My small bottle of Griots Best of Show wash and wax arrived. Never tried a “wash and wax” soap before so be curious to see what kinda difference if any it leaves

I haven't used this product before so I can't comment on it. I've used their regular soap off and on for years and it's pretty good and not too expensive but after using Reset and Bilt-Hamber, well, a prettier girl has walked by and kept my attention

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this soon

Used the Best of Show Wax and Wash soap this morning with Speed Shine for the drying aid and really like how it came out.

Soap didn’t suds up as much as what I am used to but will certainly try it again.

Yeah most soaps with protection in them tend to do that. How was the lubricity

The had a promo where if you spent $59 you get 6 of there MF towels free. With all the great reviews and my tellling myself now i can’t buy any towels for a year.

Technically didn’t break my rule

Just saw that promo today - bought a set of the blue edgeless during thanksgiving week.

Let us know what you think of the crinkle towels!

Also picked up the ceramic glass cleaner, but something tells me that with the garage being 15 degrees, now’s not the time to try it…

I gotta say they seem exactly like the speed master cloud 9. They both have that Mocrofiber Blanket feel and both 80/20 blend. The speed master are 30gsm more.

At $35 for 9 the seem the better value. I doesn’t state wear Griots are made but in questions there was one answer that said over seas and one that said korean made if that matters

Looked on the site… shoulda looked on packaging. Vietnam…. That’s new. Musta been what the meant overseas.

The “korea” post was only 4 months old. Lot of people place emphasis on where it’s made. I’ve learned it’s more important the machines that make them.

Why does it matter where it's made, we're in a world market

This reminds me of the constant argument that Derek0609 and I know all too well being from the D....Buy American. So are you buying the badge or who built it? Do you need a passport to go see where it's built? Do you want Americans building the car or no???

Hey guys. I’m planning my spring detail (yes it’s a long ways off lol). Thinking about going with BOSS correcting cream on Lake Country CCS white pads. Then second step with Liquid Wax 3-in-1 on LC CCS black pad. The Liquid Wax 3-in-1 has some abrasives in it in case the CC doesn’t finish down perfectly, and it will lay down some carnauba. I prefer to use carnauba in the summer months since I wash the car often and can use Spray-On Wax as my drying aid to keep the carnauba topped up.

Last summer was my first season that I really got into detailing and went with the Meg’s ultimate line (pretty much all of it). Interested in switching it up for next summer to mostly Griot’s products.

Let me know your thoughts on what I laid out above for my spring detail. Also considering picking up Fast Correcting Cream for problem spots, but then I’d also need to pick up Perfecting cream, right?
