Inside Griot's Garage

Some tidbits from the YouTube Live:

The Griot's liquid wax is apply, 10-minute cure, wipe with damp towel and then with dry towel.
The Stinky Be Gone Air Freshener is not going to come with the rechargeable wafers as they showed in SEMA. Probably a deal killer for me.
Car Wash pods take like 90 seconds to dissolve. Not supposed to clog foam cannon pickup tubes provided you wait 2 min. Seems faster to just measure out liquid or use a bettix bottle.
They don't recommend the ceramic trim restorer on floor mats. It is a similar product to the ceramic tire dressing.
Pretty impressive demo of hand application of the plastic AIO on a headlight. That's for clear plastics only.

Several unanswered questions from me, which are hopefully addressed in their next video.

Really interested in the Ceramic RW, anything on that

I don't know that there was much new info. You can watch that portion which starts here:

They did a rear truck fender so I'd probably try at least a full door when I try it. And it's wash/dry as you go. I think the big question will be how much the cleaning ability is impacted. Ceramic Wash & Coat was never stellar in that regard.

Why does this keep coming up with this product--isn't that how everyone does a rinseless wash?

With their regular rinseless wash or most rinseless products, I'd wash the entire car and then dry or at least dry like a 1/4 of the car at a time unless I was trying to do it in direct sunlight.

As a fair comparison, I looked at Carpro's page for Ech20 and they say panel by panel also for rinseless use. (Wash panel, completely dry panel before moving to next)

With Ech2o, that's VERY GOOD advice

I do rinsless in garage and will try to do sides, rear, front at once to not get dirt on drying towel where clean edge meets dirty.

Not a problem with any rinsless that I’ve used. The per panel is more for outside to me which , yes, I will do if I am rinselessing outside

The ceramic rinseless wash is now in stock. Free shipping over $39 as well right now so you don't need to buy much else.

Free shipping over $39...it used to be $49, then $59 recently

the current free shipping offer for orders over $39 is probably a promo for a limited time and will most likely go back to where it was before. if anyone needs to pick up some GG products (new releases or re-stock items), now is the time! AG seems to be behind in new releases and/or out of stock on a lot of products/brands. don't know what's going on with AG/PBMG these days...

Ordered the ceramic RW as well and a spare jar/lid for my brilliant finish foam cannon. I'll wait on more until the air freshener is in stock.

Ceramic RW and Tide pods....urrrr, Griot's Garage pods, came today (advantage of being 4.5 hrs from Indy) and look forward to trying it out tomorrow on a 50+ degree day...stay "tuned"!

Anyone ever have trouble with Perfecting Cream on a yellow BOSS pad not finishing down very well? Lots of micro-marring. I tried Sonax Perfect Finish and it went away. I then tried the Perfecting Cream again in the same spot and sure enough, the micro-marring returned. It’s not the pad either, because I used the Perfect Finish on a secondary yellow BOSS pad.

I’m stumped as I thought Perfecting Cream would surely finish down super great.

I will say, I’m seeing this by using a very bright light (the kind for mountain biking in the dark). Ability to use natural light is low right now with the grey weather and short days.

mine should show up tomorrow. with saturday plans, and then rain or snow after that, i'm not sure when i'll get to try mine.

Adding some more context to my last post about Perfecting Cream. Here’s a photo showing my trunk which I just corrected using Correcting Cream. I did a test “strip” with a 3” yellow Perfecting pad and Perfecting Cream. The test strip looks worse than what Correcting Cream did! How on Earth!? Anyone have any ideas what’s going on here?

I used a tape line on the right side of the test strip. Please ignore the RIDS lol

In addition to whatever feedback you get here,I would forward your situation to Griot's directly

They are renown for their customer service and I'd be surprised if they weren't very helpful
