Inside Griot's Garage

Noticed their Ceramic AIO is on clearance at one of the auto part stores.

You could always get the new IK Foam Pro 12E

Way to much for compressor and battery. My tire inflator in the crown Royal bag is working just fine. Plus this is hand held.

Really don’t need it as don’t mind hand pumping hand held foamers

Yeah it's not cheap, glad I built mine before this was released. I will say though the battery is said to be able to go 1 hour on a charge, 4 hrs to recharge, mine doesn't do that

Am I the only one who thinks that iK's attempt at motorizing their sprayers is an afterthought? I mean all they did was strap a battery and compressor to the side of their existing sprayer. Just looks very half-assed.

Especially for $150. Understand the battery is lithium but still…

The thing is, iK did a great job designing their sprayers to be highly functional. I only recently got a Multi Pro Sprayer, I now know why these things are so popular. Ergonomically, they are perfect.

So when I look at that battery solution, it just appears janky. I do realise that iK would need to redesign the whole head to properly integrate this, but I think that's what I would expect a brand at this level to do.

I think they saw all the garage jacks adding a cheap tire inflator and wanted to get something to market. One thing I do like is it not being built in if foamer breaks can move to new model.

I'm glad I added the battery powered compressor to mine, although mine was like $50.00 from Amazon, not $155.00 like IT'S, although an hour run time crushes what mine has. I can foam my car twice but that's the way I do it, so I could probably do it 3x's realistically. I foam the car well, wheelwells and tires and wheels and then go around it again to empty my gallon of solution out

here it is in action at the 5:30 - 5:50 mark in the video below...

Great video. I really like Mike, and think he's a super cool guy with great taste. That Century looks amazing as well, props to his detailer friend.
