2008 Honda Pilot Full detail and PBL v2 coating – pic heavy

Lol. I know exactly what you mean. Honda Pilots can be a bit deceiving.. They're larger than you would think. And I agree, the roof on this vehicle is a major PITA.

Thats the old pilot too. That was a bit lower and smaller than the one I worked on haha!

Out here the one you shared was called the MRV.

MRV? What's that stand for? "Most Ridiculous Vehicle" [to have to detail] Lol.

Don't ever make any promises to a a customer about restoring the plastic trim on those MRV's because it's absolutely impossible to restore the trim on them! Nothing works. I've tried everything.

Thank you for answering.

Great work and even better write up!!!

Learned alot again!!!

I have so many cars in this initial condition in my neighborhood looks like a few steps from the junkyard. When I see resurrection process it is truly magical considering amount of hours and effort put for perfection.

I agree. Tried solution finish and it sort of made it a little better, but far from perfect. And lol at the MRV acronym!

would love to come there for a week.

Please do, and help me coat the vehicles too!! :D Jk. Would be an awesome trip!

I agree, I spent 5 days on this car. Was definitely a work out, considering I am pretty weak and skinny lol!

Definitely a wow. Amazing results.

Thanks a lot man!

Out of curiosity I took a half of bottle of gyeon wetcoat and dumped pbl in it .shook it up and sprayed right fender on a e class black.its ease of removal is easy,I don't understand how 2 products mixed together used in a totally different way works.I used this as a spraywax and used 2 microfibers. No streaks or nothing at all, heck I even used it on the glass as well.my new founded spraywax for my personal vehicles.

OMG...if only I had the guts (or the funds) to try that!!

Either way, that is some really good info! By PBL, you mean the actual coating right....?
