Favorite Pure Paint Cleaner/VERY Light Polish?

After doing a lot of research and taking readings on our cars, it's becoming more apparent that paint is becoming thinner and thinner. Since these are daily drivers, I think I am going to stay away from any regular correction, unless it is truly needed. My plan, I think, is to use filler products to "refine" the surface and then seal with Megs UPW, which does some nice filling.

So my question is, what is your favorite pure paint cleaner/VERY light polish/Cleaning Glaze? The purpose would be to just give the UPW something nice to bond to and clean up the paint. I have 205, and I'm wondering if with a black pad, does it really have any cut?

Otherwise, thoughts are appreciated!

Sonax polish or cleaner wax and net shield over it since they are daily drivers.Black finishing pad should do no harm.I use the green light cut sonax pads with there products.
 
Ultimate Polish on a black finishing pad.
 
Well, since I have 205 ( I know it is more aggressive than UP), I might just try that on a black pad. I think the difference in abbrassive level is negligable.

was looking to buy foam pad glaze.Ag is blowing it out the door for less than 10.00.I will get it Monday.

Mix them both in one bottle.The worst that can happen is pad gumming.
 
I'm going to be using a sealant over it, though.

I think I may just try the 205 on a black pad, since I have a ton of it.

Another good option looks like Rupes Ultrafine
 
Well you could try Pinnacle Paint Cleanser. It's a chemical cleaner with filling capabilities and no abrasion.

it would depend on the pad you use, but on a scale from 1-5 i'm guessing (definitely not sure) it would be around 2. the best person to ask would be jeff brown (PM him, link below) as he helped develop the whole BOSS system (he's in the video below)...

M205 on a black pad is perfectly fine to clean up paint.
 
I'd recommend from less aggressive to more (but still very mild-of course pad dependent)
DG Squeaky Clean (if not using a sealant or wax)
DG 501 (if using a sealant or wax afterward)

Yes, Rupes Diamond is great, but I find the Meguiar's polishes easier to work with.
 
Car Pro's Essence. Top with CQuartz or Reload as an option.
