Recommendation for Tar Remover?

Just noticed I have a bit of black tar on my chrome bumper of my F-150. I don't have any tar removers - any suggestions? Was maybe thinking of CarPro Tar X?

I simply use IPA from the store. Works perfect.

I'll second that motion but have also found IPA can get it done sometimes as well.

Razor it off and clean up the residual with hairspray if possible.zero money to buy anything.

Tar-X is an incredible tar and adhesive remover and is safe for most surfaces.

NOTE: Do not allow Tar X to dry on the surface. Avoid use on sensitive clear plastics like headlights and clear bras. To prevent possible damage, do NOT allow Tar X to dry on plastics. Avoid contact with acrylic and aftermarket acrylic paints as bleaching may occur.
