Optimum opti bond tire gel diluted

When you guys go back and wipe the tire are you getting a lot of bs on the towel? I'm picturing it rubbing the tire and the rag becoming black
Tire is very clean so no black comes off on my microfibers.

If I'm using blackfire AIO I do get a little because its acting as the cleaner also.

That was a good point i forgot to mention to shake it up because tou can see it seperated at the bottom of the bottle. I hardly get anything on my microfiber but after all tires are done i use the sponge to dress the wheel wells and looks great if you are that picky

Different tires react differently to certain dressings. I would not say it's user error on your part. It's always good to have a few dressings on hand.

+1 on these two points. Certainly decreasing the dilution ratio makes for a stronger application.

The suggestions I will add is that one should let the product dry (mostly if not fully), and 2-3 thin layers are better than 1-2 thick layers.

My two "go-to" products are PERL/OB (I don't really distinguish between the two besides dilution), and Tuff Shine Clear Coat. Tuff Shine is a better product than the former. I'll spend my free time elsewhere until these both begin to fail me.

•Opti-Bond...diluted 1:1...
could very well be a tremendous
product. :dunno:
•However:
-I will attest to it being a very
tremendous product when it's
applied undiluted.
•Yes:
-I don't ever dilute Opti-Bond.
-I always have tremendous results
whenever I use Opti-Bond undiluted.

Apply TIRE GEL by hand with an applicator to evenly spread product. Opti-Bond is not intended to be sprayed out of a typical spray bottle. Only with compressed air through a spray gun, and even then you should wipe the tires with an applicator to work the product in and spread it evenly.
I use Opti-Bond daily and when applied correctly, the protection can last for over a month.

Good point. I do this by default and didn't even think of how others apply the product.
