I have not used my McKees in about 6 months. When I went to use it today this is what it looked like after shaking the bottle for a long time.

I do keep all my supplies in my house and I shake all my bottles of product about once a month

I attribute it to that bottle. I have some of those, and they are not air tight like the bottles that the products come in. Take that bottle, close the dispenser, and give it a squeeze. It will leak air and possibly even product between the lid and body if you squeeze hard enough. They are nice for dispensing product but not good for long term storage. If I keep a wax, polish, or similar product in these bottles long term I will take a small piece of Saran (plastic) wrap and place it over the neck of the bottle before screwing the cap on.

I have experienced some hardening of 845 and Menzerna 3500 in these bottles without using the plastic wrap. With the plastic wrap I can store them in the basement over winter without any issues.

I had the same issues using one of these bottles to store some Optimum Hyper Polish. The product separated in a few months.

Thanks for the feedback. I Will probable just toss all my bottles because I just wasted about 6oz of wgdgps when I squeezed the bottle the hole cap flew off, and just lost about 8 oz of McKees 360. These little cheap bottles just costed me money.

I have tons of 360 (unused) that is almost a year old and in perfect condition. Likely the bottle you have.

I just placed An order from autopia and my free gift was 3 of these bottles. Just my luck

I hope you didn't waste the wgdps because of my suggestion to squeeze the bottle :bolt:

I just used up about 1/4 of a bottle I received in February and has been sitting in my garage the entire time. No issues.

Those bottels are only good for high volume use.

They are not air tight. No matter how you twist the top on air still gets in. Take an empty one with the top on and squeeze it.

I tossed a dozen of thes eout a couple years ago. And quite a bit of runied dried out product too.

Agree with the others. I had 3 of those, and I put some 845 in one of them, and after the winter (kept inside the house), the contents of the bottle were toast. Tossed.

:nomore:

Same issue here, theses bottles suck and should not be sold I threw mine out a total waste of money.

I tried to squeeze these bottles with the cap on and din't leak any air:
Autogeek Squeeze Bottle, Autogeek dispenser

Should I be worried too?

I have simliar ones bought elsewhere and the first thing I did was the squeeze test. No air leaks and have been good all year thus far. Just make sure when you're done using them you clean up the tops good, close them and squeeze test o make sure product isn't caked in allowing air inside.

Has anyone contacted you about a replacement bottle for the 360 yet? If not please send me an email. [email protected]

We actually redesigned the dispenser bottles and they are much thicker, which avoids the issue of long-term storage.

Thank you.

hey nick, how long ago was the redesign? I ordered these bottles about 2 months ago and just filled them all up(6). most things ill use up in a week or so but others will sit a bit longer. should I try to get them swapped out or are they the new designed ones?

Thanks Nick for making this right. I totally was not expecting autogeek to give me a whole bottle of 360. Thanks a lot. No company does these types of things

It's been a while: New Heavy-Duty Autogeek Squeeze Bottles

The gallon of compound has hardly any impact on the new, thicker bottle.
