This is a detail of a 2001 BMW 740i that I did today. I wish that I had taken some before shot but I got so into the detail that I forgot to take some. Needless to say this detail kicked my ***. The wheels were jet black from brake dust and I couldn't even tell what they were underneath. I swear I used almost a whole bottle of Poorboys Spray and Rinse with them.

This is without a doubt the worst detail I have done to date. The only good thing is that 2 great details are awaiting on the horizon from this client. 2007 Audi R8 and a 2007 Porsche 997 GT2.

Process=8.5 hours NO BREAKS

Wash car with NXT wash and P21S via foam gun
Wheels cleaned with Poorboys SR via powerwasher and WhiteKnight Powerstick (I still couldn't get the wells completely clean)
Interior cleaned with Woolite and Water and Mr Clean Magic Eraser
Interior vinyl dressed with Sonus Total Eclipse and Leather dressed with Four Star Leather conditioner
Carpets cleaned with Folex and Zep Carpet cleaner. Drivers side got the powerwasher
Clay with Clay Magic
Polish with OC via UDM and Orange Pad
Polish with Ultima PPP via UDM with Green Pad
LSP=Ultima PGP
Engine Cleaned with P21S and dressed with Armour All Tire Foam
Window cleaned with NXT Glass Cleaner
Exterior trim dressed with NXT Tech Protectorant
Wheel cleaned with NXT Metal Polish
Tires dressed with Eagle One Wet
Wheel wells dressed with Street Appeal Tire Dressing

Sorry no suns shots. By the time I was done the sun was gone.

Great Job!

An R8 and a GT2?!?!?! I need to meet this guy!

Excellent work Pat. Every time you post one of these, the cars truly look new inside and out.

Looks SUPER Pat! Great job on a color I am a little familiar with j/k

Toto

Trust me Toto I thought of you the whole time I was doing it. I even thought about writing my name on a panel....:D

Shorty Sporty; The best 7 ever made.

Looks like it turned out wheel. BMW Floor mats are not the most durable, though.

These are what I work on every day, but never that dirty, thankfully!

Great work. I wanted to know what did you thnk of the pgp. I currently have it on my truck and I really do like it.

Great work on that BMW! The interior is spotless!

Beautiful machine and a very timeless design. Well done my friend, well done!

Wow that looks good! I don't even wanna know what it looked like before :p

tell me about the labor intensive work
after doing cars like that...you really feel like ur underpaid
but then when u work on that r8 and porsche ull prolly take just as long..or even longer..becuase ur that much more careful...but instead of breaking a sweat...u can probably grab a glass of wine as yo admire your work between each step

the day before i worked on my first ferrari i had detailed a 1997 mountanieer with 180k miles and it took 10 hours or so

i did a ferrari 360cs and it wasnt TOO bad but was in need of some TLC...i spent about 8 hours..just using new towels for every panel and being really appreciateive of the craftsmanship of the car...and also saving my a$$ so i woudltn accidentlly pick up some dirt/rocks and scratch the paint

all said n done...u got a customer for life...enjoy the glory..show us pix of the future cars when their done!
