All in all I was pleased... As I tell people this will not remove the scratch BUT will minimize it

Impressive. It's gone in the pic. Thanks for sharing.

Wow nice job! I've been thinking about getting this kit for some rock chips in my Vette.

Very nice post, you did a good job and redusing the scratch heck on the last pictures you can hardly see it. Well done.

Thank you for sharing.

That looks so much better. Have you used the Langka system before? Is it fairly easy to use?

Nice work. Can barely see it now!

jimmie & alban: Ha, yeah I WISH it was totally gone in person...

Hey bro, it's a pretty darn good way to minimize the chips

Nica, thank you sir...you wording was spot on "reducing the scratch"

Al, thanks. yeah I've used langka before. There is a learning curve to it. Ambient temperature, and different touch up paints all have a part in the variability with the process.

OEM touch up paint works the best. The auto parts paint doesn't seem to "grab" as well and a lot of the paint comes out when surfacing.

I see there is a video one can get along with the products..would that help? I tried it in the past and wasn't that blown away by it..it PROBABLY was user error however. Should I get the kit and the video; do you recommend both? Thanks

That's true, there is a video that one can purchase that is supposed to give tips on how to improve the results..mmm..interesting. Has anyone seen this video or have purchased it by any chance? I'd be curious to hear some feed back on it.

Richy/Nica:

I bought the dvd... It was helpful – just showed you that it could be done… this scratch was different because of it’s geometry. Very narrow but very deep. As a result it felt almost as though the touch up didn’t have enough area to really “bite” onto.

The last scratch (more like a gouge) I did was easier… more drastic.

Youd be all set with just the blob remover and the video!

I bought the Langka system with the video. It appears very straight foward to use although I didn't get the results shown. The touchup paint I have came from my Infiniti dealer and comes as two bottles, one paint and one clearkote. I'm sure any error is due to my technique.

mmmm...thank you for the feed back on the DVD, perhaps another tool I should purchase oooh and I know the person to hook me up here in Canada :D

Thank you for sharing.

Dude, do your talents never end? Very nice work on that scratch. See now I may have to buy something else because of you....my wife is going to kill you!

There is a learning curve for sure. Did you not get the results shown on the video or of my pics?
