Hello from Phoenix

Nice one, Paul! This is a lovely place for sure. I've lived all over the world but coming home to the AZ was one of the best days of my life. I don't think we'll ever leave to be honest. My folks are down in San Tan Valley and my only advice on living there is that I only recommend it if you are retired and don't plan on working in the rest of The Valley. It is so isolated and the traffic is diabolical during rush hours getting in and out. Gilbert is a nice spot and cheaper than a lot of other places for the quality of the house you can get. South Chandler is the same.

Im excited for you though, man. You'll love the lack of cold, snow, rain and dreary winters. You just stay inside for a few months each year and you're golden!

Thanks for the info Scottie! Let's hook up for sure when I get out there!

Welcome to the site! I'm trying to do the detailing on the side as well. Trying to see the best way to go about this being I have FT job. Right now I do mostly family and friends cars at my house, but I don't want customers dropping cars off at my house.

Do you have a mobile rig set up? I actually am using a Toyota matrix with the back seats down. It's like having a small truck with a roof. Plenty of room for the great I have. Because I use ONR I don't have to worry about hauling large amounts of water or a power washer either. How are you doing it now? Fixed or mobile? I just think mobile works great for a part timer personally and there is so little overhead.
