What a beauty, the color is just fantastic, just a question: the white stripes on the hood, are they painted? or vinyl, if so, no problem using the polisher over them?

RL APC on vinyl and seats

vinyl stripes and no problems at all

nice "mini" detail...

Much better than those BIG suv a?

Nice job on the mini and I loved the title of this thread. Too cute. How long did it take you to complete the detail?

U can say that again... these hands down are easier and alot funner to detail!!!

Is "funner" a word?:D j/k

Anyhow, nice detail. I love these little cars except for one thing. I cannot get used to the speedometer being in the middle of the dash. Seems like it would be very distracting to have to look to the right to see your speed. I guess Mini drivers can get used to using the tach as the speedo.

 thanks!! Um... since it was my only detail, I took my time. 4 1/2 hrs. mostly cause i had to the sealant set for an hour

hey I'm 26.... I get to make my own words!!!:D

yeah, the speedometer was kinda funky... looked like the clock that rapper wore around his neck!!! but sweet it was a 6-speed

It turned out great!! That WG / LS looks wet on that yellow. My favorite was the interior, thats the first time I've actually seen the inside of one of those, looks like it would be a blast to drive!!

Good Job !

The Mini cooper S handles like a Kart, it's amazing, however it's a little bit too hard for everyday use and the back seats were made to be used by hobbits only hehe!

Great job! I'd love to take one of those cars out for a drive.

I see you cleaned up the beer cans pretty well.:D If you don't know what I am talking about...here's a fun fact:

Beer Can Exhaust

The team of designers working on the 2001 MINI had finished the full-sized clay mock-up of the MINI in plenty of time for a presentation for the board of directors. Chief designer Frank Stephenson realized that the model did not have an exhaust pipe. His short-term solution was to pick up an empty beer can, punch a hole in it, strip off the paint and pushed it into the clay at the back of the car, which took just a few minutes. The overall design for the mock-up was so good that the board members told him not to change a thing, resulting in the distinctive exhaust tip seen in production cars.

Very nice job, that must have been a fun car to detail.
