I've been here my whole life, except for my first year or so 'cause I was born in Indiana. I was even able to buy the house I grew up in after my parents 'inherited' my great aunt's house after she passed.
The plate thefts are primarily in Cleveland where I work, but the losers in Akron are a bunch of wannabes that want to do whatever the "big boys" are doing, so I expect it to move down here soon.

That's horrible, I hope it doesn't move down by you. Are they stealing Vanity plates or just any old plate?

Just regular plates, they're not getting them for trophies, they're getting them to put on cars used in a crime so the police have a harder time finding them ... people are being told to try and get the license plate of a getaway car, and with a stolen plate, that's a dead end lead.
